What we collect

The Daily Stack collects your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth) when you create an account. If you connect your Google account, we store a Google OAuth refresh token to access your Google Calendar and Google Tasks on your behalf. We store the tasks, settings, and calendar events you create within the app.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the app's functionality — displaying your tasks and calendar events, syncing with Google Calendar and Google Tasks, and saving your preferences. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or analytics.

Google user data

When you connect Google, we request access to your Google Calendar and Google Tasks. We use this access only to read, create, update, and delete events and tasks as directed by you within the app. We do not access any other Google data. You can disconnect Google at any time from the Settings page, which removes your stored token immediately.

Data storage

Your data is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU. Each user's data is isolated by row-level security policies — you can only access your own data.

Data deletion

To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at ilvija.mezina@gmail.com. We will permanently delete your data within 30 days.
